1st working day at KRR

3rd of November was my 1st working day at KRR Mid-Valley outlet. In conclusion, this is not a tough job for me, but it's tiring!! I had been a waitress before at Halo Cafe, I have no problems in serving guests, order taking, cleaning...but Mid-Valley outlet is the busiest outlet. Guests in and out non-stop since opening (10am), and we work non-stop from 10am to 6pm.

Five of us are students from UCSI taking internship at Mid-Valley KRR. We arrived on time on the first working day, but sad to say, both of the manager in duty weren't good in guiding new staffs. We were not acknowledge by anybody there, so we can only sit there and waiting for them to brief us. You know what? They took about 2 hours to 'brief' us...BRIEF? it was only asking your name, introduced us to the places and other team members which took about 1 hour. Where was another hour gone? Good question! Time was wasting while we just sitting there waiting for somebody to brief us...sigh...Did they think that we are genius that know everything? Some of us never work in restaurant before, but they just let us work alone, without a buddy (Although manager in duty said we gonna have a buddy accompany us). 1st day is always tough, plus it was a Saturday! KRR was packed with guests, there was some guests lining outside waiting to be seated.

Non-stop guests in and out, non-stop working + ineffective working speed, made me feel tired. I'm so sick with those who works in slow path while there are a lots of job to do...big applause for them!! It's AWESOME!!!

10am - 12pm So-called briefing
12pm - 330pm Non-stop working (Hostess, server, cleaner, sender)
330pm - 4pm Lunch time
4pm - 6pm Again working non-stop

It was my birthday, end up with sleeping at home after work....sigh...I was tired!
