This whole surprise party story has to be start from past few week when Ken message me through couch surfing (CS), asked if I am free on 1st of Nov, 'coz he decided to throw a surprise birthday party for Jasmine and Darren, and if I can think of an excuse to ask Jasmine out with me in the evening and return to his house by 7pm because usually Jasmine couches at Ken's place whenever she comes to KL. So I promised.
After that, I msn with Jasmine but she could not confirmed and I was busy for my final exam, Kelantan trip after that. So, on 31st of Nov, Ken called for confirmation then I called Jasmine, Jasmine confirmed with me that she is not in KL on 1st of Nov, she will be staying at Seremban. So I called Ken immediately to tell him about this. I believe it was my fault misinterpret Ken's meaning, I thought the party is postponed to next week.
1st of Nov, I was exhausted, just came back from work, then I received message from Ken asking where am I and everyone is at his place for the party now. I called Ken to said I am not sure whether I am going because I just came back from work and my mom is in town. After having dinner with my mom, Ken called again. So, I decided to go to the party for a while since I had promised them to go early on. It is bad if I ffk.
When I arrived at Ken's place was already 10pm. They had just finished their dinner and we were there chit-chatting like always. After a while, they brought a cake out, sang a birthday song for Darren and ME! I was like WHAT? For ME? It was truly a surprise as I never expect they will celebrate for me as well! I was so so so touch! They even gave me a present and a card full with their wishes. I appreciate that a lot!
Actually I wanted to offer my help in kitchen when they were preparing the cake, but Ken called me suddenly, he said, I have some question to ask you about the cats (he keeps two cats at home), and he looks really suspicious...maybe I am too sensitive. Anyway, I know he would not want me to go into kitchen and discover what they are actually doing in there.
Like I wrote in thank you mail, A big big thanks for these loving CSers, thank you for everything, you kindness, your wishes, your contribution, your time, everything! I appreciate! THANK YOU, Ken, Kak Siti, Joeys, Jolynn, CK, Darren, Jamie, all loving CSers!

ahh, the good ol times... :) i was surprised too!! anyway, i think ken's definitely a great planner here!! thank you for the surprise too!! btw, where are the photos?! do u have any?? :)
